My biggest learnings from 3 years as a tinnitus coach
Hey there! Welcome to this podcast where I, Frieder, will be your host, and we’ll delve into the fascinating world of tinnitus science and explore ways to live a better life despite this condition. I’ve been working hard on this podcast for two years now, sharing valuable episodes to help people worldwide live their best lives despite tinnitus. Today, I’d like to talk about my own tinnitus management platform, available at www.mytinnitus.club. It’s a fantastic platform with weekly videos on managing tinnitus, cognitive behavioral therapy, sleep improvement, and live coaching sessions. You can also connect with other members in your area and find support. Try it out for three days for free and start living your best life with tinnitus.
My Tinnitus Journey:
Hey, can you believe it’s been three years since I started coaching people full-time on managing tinnitus? This Tinnitus Journey has been built out of my personal experiences, as I’ve been dealing with tinnitus for 13 years. I’ve faced challenges, especially during my twenties, when I struggled to protect my hearing while still enjoying social gatherings. However, I’ve learned valuable techniques from cognitive behavior therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy, which I now share with my clients to help them live better lives with tinnitus.
Positive Coaching Stories:
I’ve had some incredible coaching experiences with clients like Martina from Chicago and others from around the world. Martina was struggling with sleep due to tinnitus, but after a few sessions, she found relief and appreciated my ability to relate to her struggles. Another client from Morocco couldn’t sleep due to tinnitus but managed to find comfort and restful sleep through our coaching. These success stories reaffirmed that I’m on the right path in helping people with tinnitus.
Building the Audience:
Though it hasn’t all been smooth sailing, I’m grateful for the positive feedback and connections I’ve made through this podcast. I’ve had the privilege of interviewing renowned tinnitus scientists, experts, and successful individuals in the field. This has helped me find the right audience and provide valuable content to support those with tinnitus.
Challenges and Honesty:
Building an online business has its challenges, from administrative tasks to finding the right audience. I’ve had a few clients who weren’t ready for the approach I offered, but I always strive to be honest and open about what my coaching entails. It’s essential to understand that coaching might not be suitable for everyone, and sometimes other forms of help, like professional therapy, might be more appropriate.
Future Plans:
Despite the difficulties, I’m determined to continue providing the best resources and solutions for people with tinnitus. I’m excited about the future, which includes an in-depth course on my tinnitus management platform and a partnership with a new sponsor for the podcast. My goal is to reach and support as many people as possible, regardless of their background or location.
Conclusion: I’m extremely grateful for each and every one of you who listens to this podcast. Your support encourages me to keep going and offer help to those who need it. Remember, you’re not alone, and together, we can work towards living our best lives despite tinnitus. Feel free to connect with me at www.mytinnitus.club or send me an email at frieder@outringtinnitus.com . I believe in each of you, and I’m rooting for your journey to a better life with tinnitus.
